π Registration
Each LoftOS platform incorporates a login and authentication system. Platform administrators can set various access modes tailored to their specific requirements.
These options encompass:
- Free access for all users.
- Access restricted solely to users affiliated with recognized organizations.
- Access granted post-confirmation by a designated platform administrator.
Moreover, platform administrators retain the autonomy to determine whether the platform exclusively caters to users associated with organizations. Users can be automatically assigned to organizations based on their business e-mail addresses (e.g., employee@company.com).
New users have the option to register using their LinkedIn or Google accounts and can request to be assigned to a specific organization. Subsequently, organization administrators are tasked with validating these requests. Furthermore, this account system functions as a unified sign-on mechanism across various platforms within the Innoloft Ecosystem.

Register to the Platform
- Begin by creating your profile. Simply enter your last name, provide an e-mail address, and set a password.
- Once you have completed the registration form, check your e-mail inbox for a confirmation e-mail. Click on the confirmation link within the e-mail to complete the registration process.
- To maximize your experience on the platform, remember to assign yourself to your organization.
Assign to Organization
Below your profile picture is the "Assign to an organization" button. If your e-mail domain corresponds with that of any existing organization, those organizations will be listed for you to join. To affiliate yourself with the correct organization, click on its name and confirm your selection. You will then be successfully linked to your desired organization.
Create a new Organization
If you cannot find the organization you want to assign yourself to, select the "+ Create organization" option.
- Enter the Company Name: and click "next."
- Specify Organization Type: Choose the appropriate organization type and then the sub-type.
- Address Verification: You will be shown a suggested address. If it is incorrect, click "change address" to enter the correct details.
- E-mail Address Confirmation: A general e-mail address for the company will be suggested. If it needs to be corrected, select "change e-mail".
- Description: A brief description of your company will appear next. If it represents your company, proceed; otherwise, select "change description" to edit it.
- Finalize: Confirm the details are correct and then link the new organization to your user profile by clicking "finish."
These steps will ensure you can accurately create and affiliate yourself with the correct organization.
Verification of Profile
Verification can be completed in one of two ways:
- Automatic Approval
- The platform automatically verifies your affiliation by checking if your e-mail domain matches the company's registered e-mail domain. If there's a match, you are instantly verified.
- Administrator Approval
- This method involves sending a verification request via e-mail to all registered users of your company. Once an existing member confirms your association with the company, you will be approved to join.
Both methods are designed to ensure that only legitimate company members can access and manage the organization's profile.
User Types and Roles
Registration is only the first step β what a user can actually see and do is determined by their type and their role.
- User Types define the category a user belongs to (e.g. Startup, Investor, Corporate, Private User). Types that should not be selectable during self-registration can be deactivated under Admin β Users β Type Settings.
- Roles define module-level access permissions. Admins assign roles manually in the admin backend, or automatically via auto-assignment rules (e.g. based on the user's e-mail domain or organization type).
- Both the type and the role of a user can be changed at any time by a platform admin in the admin backend β a user does not need to re-register.
π‘ Hiding a module from the navigation does not restrict access to it. Actual access is always controlled through role permissions. See Roles and Packages.
β FAQs
General
-
I have registered but do not receive a confirmation e-mail. What can I do?
- Check the spam/junk folder first β by far the most common cause.
- Re-trigger the e-mail: go to the login page, attempt to log in, and click "resend" confirmation.
- Verify the e-mail address that was entered during registration was spelled correctly.
- Corporate mail filters may block platform mail β whitelist the platform's sending domain or try a different address.
- If it still does not arrive, an admin can confirm the account manually. Report it via the Resource Center with the user's e-mail address and the platform.
-
What should I do if I didn't receive an e-mail after requesting to reset my password?
If you haven't received an e-mail, please contact us for further assistance.
-
What should I do if I have registered but cannot be verified for my organization because the existing organization administrator has left the organization?
Please reach out to us for assistance. We will help you navigate the verification process and ensure that you can access the platform effectively.
-
Is there an option to log in with a Single Sign-on (SSO)?
Depending on the configuration of the platform, you can login with your existing accounts from Google or LinkedIn.
-
Can a User register with more than one type?
No. A User can only register with one type
-
A user's e-mail address is already registered on another LoftOS platform β what now?
User accounts are global across all LoftOS platform instances sharing the same infrastructure, so the same e-mail address cannot be registered a second time. The registration form now says so directly β "You already created a LoftOS account with this email address. Please use your existing login credentials to sign in." β so most users resolve this without contacting you.
- Ask the user to log in with their existing credentials instead of registering again.
- In the admin backend, find and approve them for your platform under Access & Permissions β Approvals.
This is a frequent situation for organisations that launch alongside an existing LoftOS platform.
