The LoftOS Automation System streamlines your platform management by automatically triggering specific actions based on user behavior. This powerful tool reduces manual administrative work and creates dynamic, responsive experiences for your community members.

The automation system operates on a simple concept: β€œIf this happens (Trigger), then do that (Action).”

  • Trigger: A specific event that occurs on your platform (e.g., a user joining a group)
  • Action: The automated task that executes when the trigger occurs (e.g., assigning a role to that user)

Currently, automations must be configured by our Customer Success team. Contact your designated Customer Success Manager to set up automations for your platform.

To set up an automation for your platform:

  1. Identify Your Need: Determine what user behavior should trigger an automated action
  2. Contact Your CSM: Reach out to your designated Customer Success Manager
  3. Provide Details: Share the following information:
    • Platform URL or App ID
    • Desired Trigger: Which user action should start the automation
    • Desired Action: What should happen automatically
    • Specific Requirements: Target groups, roles, labels, or other details
    • Business Goal: Why you need this automation

Example Request:

  • Action: Attach β€œEntrepreneur” role to user
  • Goal: Automatically give group members access to exclusive content
